"Quick Quitting" The Race to Quit First

Good Morning Everyone,

We have seen and lived through the Great Resignation, Quit Quitting, and now Quick Quitting? A great article from Linkedin on the new data of what is transpiring in the workforce.

According to a new analysis by LinkedIn's Economic Graph team, workers aren't just "quiet quitting," they're outright quitting as quickly as possible. This is something people in the industry are now dubbing "fast quitting," wherein someone leaves their position before the one-year (1) mark. It would appear that the old standard of one year of employment no longer applies.

While "quiet quitting" doesn't involve the outright departure from a position in the same way "Quick Quitting" does, the two suggest a shift in attitude among the workforce, wherein individuals seek more work-life balance and better quality use of their time.

I am unable to foresee what the next movement in our workforce will be. I know that the workplace has been and is undergoing a significant overhaul. What will this new era look like? I guess only the future knows.
