The electric power market continues to offer exceptional opportunities!
In addition to current prices being very competitive (in relation to regulated tariffs), prices for future delivery are excellent for the buyers.
The graph shows an average of prices from 5 consulted suppliers that were sent to me by a company that operates in the free energy market. They are designated in the local currency - please note 1 USD = R$ 5.2.
"Preço Incentivado" is the one for "small energy users" - it is produced by "smal" hydro power plants. They get a special discount in the wire fees (that has to be paid to the local utility company).
"Preço convencional" is for larger energy users. They don't get any subsidy.Â
Actually, both prices end up costing about the same. It menas that the Preço Incentivado when dicounted with the subsidies equals the Preço Convencional.
