St. Paul, Minnesota’s public schools are tapping geothermal to cut emissions and building costs  | Energy News Network

St. Paul contracted with Darcy Solutions to install aquifer geothermal systems at two schools. The systems tap underground water to heat and cool buildings at sites where the district would not have had enough land for ground source geothermal.  In addition, the district reduces carbon and saves money over traditional natural gas systems.
