In the Renewable Energy Mix Why Isn’t Geothermal Right Up There with Solar and Wind?

According to Project Drawdown, a site whose mission is to help the world stop climate change by promoting science-based climate solutions and strategies, unlike in Japan where there is NIMBYism about it, geothermal is starting to heat up. The Japanese are afraid that geothermal power plants will take away their natural hot springs. But that is not from where geothermal power plants draw their warmth.
