Renewable Energy M&A: UKA Group’s North American subsidiary seeks to sell its 101.2 MW Blue Sky solar project in Texas

Fractal Advisory has initiated the sale process for the solar farm, on behalf of UKA. The project will be located in Crockett County, within Crockett County Consolidated Common School District, and will host 240,732 photovoltaic panels and 29 central inverters. The asset is currently in the ready-to-build stage, with commercial operation expected by mid-2024. Interested parties have until June 16, 2023, to submit non-binding offers for the project.

Enerdatics research: As per UKA Group’s regulatory filings with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Enerdatics understands that the project will have a total investment of $85mn. The prospective deal, if executed, would be UKA Group's first transaction in North America. The company develops solar and wind energy projects across Europe and the United States, with ~60 grid-connected assets and a globally identified opportunity pipeline of approximately 14 GW.
