Planet Pulse: A rhythmic check in on climate change

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲 - a curated sample of the week’s more interesting, important, or just amusing stories.

I’m on a theme roll. Today it’s twofold: Iceland and I told you so.

The I told you so part may seem like I’m patting myself on the back, and I am. However, I have no need to do that publicly.

I’ve lived my entire life with a singular goal: I want to be right in the things I say and do. Being wrong sucks, and is bad for self-esteem.

But more importantly, I have no desire to be like the plethora of bloviators that exist in the world. These people contribute nothing to society but noise.

If you’re going to take the time to read my posts, don’t you want to know that you are devoting your valuable time to reading something of worth?

For almost two decades I wrote a weekly business and economics column for a major paper in New Hampshire. Unlike most economic analysts - including the entire economic community - I kept track of my predictions. I’m proud to say that I was correct most of the time.

I believe my ability to assess the future of climate change and clean technology will also prove correct most of the time. And that’s the point, otherwise, why bother.
