Wave energy has yet to, well, make waves. But that could soon change: This summer, the first major testing site in the continental US linked up to the grid after (surprisingly) clinching DOE approval. The catch? PacWave South hasn’t yet generated any electricity...due to delayed federal funding. Surf is not yet up. 🏄
