The initiative will act like a matchmaking service, linking local governments and institutions with developers, distributors, insurers, and financiers. Partners include Microsoft, Sunrock, AlphaStruxure, and Zurich.
The goal is to move quickly on small, community-scale systems—solar, batteries, microgrids, EV charging—with financing models ranging from EaaS contracts to long-term performance deals.
