So? SEIA is fighting for fair valuation in capacity markets and flexible interconnection tariffs, seeking to ensure batteries are compensated for the full range of grid services they provide (like peak smoothing) rather than just being treated as solar accessories.
Noting that grid-scale storage has grown 400% since 2023, SEIA is also lobbying the Treasury for "reasonable and attainable" rules on foreign materials.
