Ron Jaikaran has over 10 years of public policy, infrastructure and energy experience. He is currently a Director of Commercial Projects at Infrastructure Ontario responsible for leading the Accelerated High-Speed Internet Program, including leading interactions with broadband, municipal and utility stakeholders to transform the way partners collaborate and unlock greater value for the public. Prior to his time at IO, Ron worked at Ontario Ministry of Finance and Treasury Board Secretariat and led policy development in a range of areas including tax, fiscal, business supports and electricity sector policies. Ron has also led the development of multiple provincial Budgets and Fall Economic Statements at the Ministry of Finance. Driven by a desire to do meaningful work that benefits both communities and their people. Ron has led pro-bono management consulting engagements with non-profit organizations and was previously a DiverseCity Fellow at CivicAction. Ron holds a Masters degree in Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
