Member of the Board of Directors of Solar Power Europe, with a clear mandate to promote renewable energy and especially solar within the EU, and to consult the European Commission on best practices, new technologies, and digitalization of the industry. An enthusiastic supporter of the digitalization of the renewable energy industry on all levels I am currently the vice-chair of the Digitalization Workstream of Solar Power Europe and has vice-chaired Solar Power Europe’s Quality lifecycle workstream which is responsible for the development of the O&M, Asset Management, and EPC best practice guidelines. Actively participating in the Emerging Markets, Finance, Sustainability, and Grid workstreams of Solar Power Europe. Member of IRENA's Coalition for Action, through which I am actively participating in the Business and Investors, Community Energy, Decarbonizing end-use sectors, and the Towards 100% Renewable Energy workgroups. A strong supporter of the European Green deal and a major influencer in policy towards the carbon-zero target globally, promoting electrification through the clever use of renewables, utilizing advanced technologies, best practices, and digitalization. A regular speaker at events across Europe, Asia, and the US, participated in EU delegation visits in emerging markets like India, Mexico, and Azerbaijan. In frequent discussions with associations from various countries like The USA (Sunspec alliance, SEIA, NREL), Asolmex ( Mexico ) NSEFI (India ), Hungary, Poland, Spain, Portugal, for the alignment on best practices and bridging Europe with other geographies.
