BioI am a respected expert in vehicle technology, design, and motorsport innovation, with over three decades of experience. As the former Vice President of Motorsports/Racing Strategy at Siemens Digital Industries Software, I focused on integrating advancements from racing into everyday vehicle technology. My areas of expertise include autonomous and connected vehicles, lightweight structures, and sustainable motorsports. I am also host and producer of the Future Car Podcast, a Top 100 Technology Podcast, featuring motorsports guests like Mario Andretti, Christian Horner, and Alejandro Agag, and leaders from automotive OEMs, startups in AV and EV space.
Before Siemens, I co-founded VISTAGY, a company specializing in software for design of lightweight composites. As Vice President of Sales, I expanded the company’s global sales and played a key role in its growth, leading to its acquisition by Siemens in 2011. Earlier in my career, I led the Automation and Design Technology Group at MIT Draper Laboratory, where I developed innovative manufacturing processes and robotics and also worked at GM Detroit Diesel Allison division as an off highway applications engineer.
I hold an Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, and an Master in Business Administration from Butler University. With numerous patents in composites manufacturing, robotics, and laser technology, I have significantly contributed to the development of advanced automotive and manufacturing technologies.
