Oliver Reetz is working for Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen in Regensburg / Germany as Head of Sensor and Sensor Systems. He studied Industrial Engineering at FH Meschede in Germany and graduated In 2002 (Dipl. -Wirt. In. (FH). Oliver Reetz started his career with Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen in 2002 as Area Sales Manager in the Electronic department. 2006 he setup the subsidiary Reinhausen Middle East in Dubai, UAE, acting as Managing Director till 2017. From 2018 to 2021 he was working as Business Development Manager in the Business Unit Automation, responsible for the development and pre-sales in the field of automation (integration of secondary technology at the transformer by means of edge computing and centralization of control cabinet functionalities by sensor bus and digitalization). Since 2022 he is working as Head of Sensor and Sensor Systems in the Business Unit Automation. He is responsible for identifying and translating customer needs into new business ventures, from the idea through the prototype stages to successful market introduction and monetization. He leverages the long-term market trend towards digitalization and generates a volume market for low-cost sensor technology on power transformers based on established, scalable product concepts and our market position. He has more than 22 years of experience in the electrical industry, especially with On-load tap changers, Automation substations and services.
