Dr. Alberto Del Rosso is with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in the USA. He manages a variety of multi-million R&D and engineering projects, including DOE and government projects, related to the integration of Grid-Enhancing Technologies and HVDC, voltage control and reactive power management, transmission system operation optimization, and transmission planning, among others.
He chairs and actively participates in several task forces and working groups in the CIGRE, IEEE-PES and other organizations. Alberto Del Rosso received his PhD degree from the National University of San Juan, Argentina, and Electromechanical Engineering diploma from the National Technological university in, Mendoza-Argentina
