ĂŤtalo Tadeu de Carvalho Freitas Filho is the President of AES Brasil since September 2018.
He is a bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the Pernambuco University – Polytechnic School, with a Masters degree (Energy, Environmental and Water resource) from the University of Campinas, and MBA in Finance from the University of Murcia- Spain, He is certified CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability professional - USA) and CFAM (Certified Fellow in Asset Management – AMCouncil – Australia). In the past fourteen years, in addition thereto, he has performed the following functions: (i) President of AES Tietê and AES Uruguaiana from April 2016 to September 2018 (ii) Operations Vice-president AES Generation Business (iii) Operations and Maintenance Director of AES Tietê and AES Uruguaiana from June 2009 to May 2013; (iv) Maintenance and operations Director of AES Uruguaiana from May 2007 to June 2009; and (v) Engineering and Performance Manager of AES Cartagena - Spain from March 2004 to May 2007.
