BioWith over a decade of experience across federal energy programs, state partnerships, and distributed energy strategy, I bring a systems-thinking lens to demand-side monetization and the financial transformation of the grid. Most recently, I served in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of State and Community Energy Programs, where I helped launch billions in home energy rebate programs alongside states and Tribes.
Today, I lead Syncwatt and Energycoin (ENC) — focused on helping utilities and DER aggregators convert demand-side management (DSM), distributed energy resources (DERs), and grid flexibility into measurable, revenue-generating financial assets. My work spans virtual power plant (VPP) design, automated M&V, tokenized ESG reporting, and utility pilot strategy.
I joined Energy Central to share and learn from others navigating the intersection of utility innovation, regulatory shifts, and the future of energy finance. I’m especially interested in how we make DSM profitable, DERs equitable, and carbon impact provable — without overburdening utility teams.
