I have been a management consultant for over 20 years, leading multi-disciplinary teams tasked with solving complex, interdependent problems. With 18 years of experience in the startup and ongoing support of governance and multi-stakeholder engagement bodies, I support environments that lead to decision-making and steering capacity for high-visibility and/or high-risk initiatives. I have a doctorate in Organizational Systems. I am also is a Certified Foresight Professional (Institute for the Future) and a Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (International Register of Certificated Auditors).
As the Executive Director of Linux Foundation Energy, I am mission driven: my singular goal is to build a hardware agnostic, open source initiative, that enables the electricity sector to build, leverage, and contribute back to the digital infrastructure or common parts of an open source digital energy stack.
My background includes program leadership and business development for 15 global or enterprise, multiyear initiatives in the areas of business transformation, IT portfolio and brand alignment. I have also worked on more than 20 projects of shorter duration across the private, government and nonprofit sectors. My experience spans the electricity, renewable energy, technology hardware and software, defense, education, financial services, credit cards, automotive, consumer package goods, social justice, agriculture, climate change and health care industries.
