Justin Kramer is the Interim Director of Emerging Technologies and Data Analytics at the Orlando Utilities Commission. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Florida State University. During his time at FSU, he served as the project manager for the Energy and Sustainability Center, gaining expertise in hydrogen combustion, building efficiency, solar thermal energy, fuel cells, electrolysis, electric vehicles, microgrids, and photovoltaic technologies. With a professional engineering license, he has designed and commissioned buildings of all sizes globally. At OUC, he leads an engineering team focused on projects such as vehicle-to-grid demonstrations, hydrogen technologies, microgrid controls, flow batteries, and other emerging technologies. His current emphasis is on developing the necessary tools for the utility of the future.
