David Sokoloff is a Program Communications Specialist for the Energy Storage program at Sandia National Laboratories. He has 25 years' experience in corporate marketing and communications and has been with Sandia since 2018, seeing his role and responsibilities increase every year. David currently leads a team responsible for working with energy storage directors from other national labs – Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Argonne National Laboratory – to keep our national and international audiences up-to-date of activities within the Energy Storage field. This is done primarily through updating the DOE OE Energy Storage website (www.sandia.gov/ess/) and the global calendar of DOE OE-funded energy storage events. David is also responsible for the following conference- and workshop-related activities: Market and promote various DOE, Sandia, NAATBatt, and IEEE PES ESSB workshops and conferences; working with hotel conference managers to ensure adequate space and accommodations for conferences; and assisting with audio/video expertise to provide the best experience for conference attendees.
