BioDan is a seasoned government affairs and communications professional, with 20 years of experience in clean energy & environmental policy, and corporate and government communications. He directs the development and execution of VEIC’s government affairs and national policy strategy and supports VEIC policy initiatives. He represents VEIC on several national clean energy coalitions. Prior to VEIC, Dan served as Communications Director for the Office of Representative Edward J. Markey during the passage of the landmark Waxman-Markey clean energy act. He also served as National Press Secretary for the Office of the House Majority Leader and Democratic Whip, Representative Steny Hoyer of Maryland.
