Jerry Jackson, president of Jackson Associates, is the developer of 7+ million record MAISY Utility Customer Energy Use and Hourly Load Databases, the energy industry's leading source of customer-detailed hourly electricity use, equipment and other energy-related data.  Most recently, Jackson Associates has extended the Department of Energy's 2020 Residential Energy Consumption Database (RECS, final release, June 2023 to include whole-building and seven end-use 8,760 hourly loads for each of the 18,400+ households in the national survey.  

Jackson Associates (JA) has provided utility customer databases and analysis to more than 150 electric utilities, retail energy providers, solar, EV, fuel cell, wind and technology companies along with state and federal regulatory agencies including the US Department of Energy.  (https://maisy.com/clients.htm)

JA specializes in incorporating new technology data in MAISY Utility Customer Databases and analysis of new technologies and services for equipment, technology and energy service companies.  JA new technology database development and impact analysis includes smart grids, microgrids, demand response, solar, cool storage, combined heat and power (CHP), flywheels, wind, fuel cells and a variety of energy efficiency technologies and services.

Dr. Jackson holds a Ph.D. in economics.  In addition to leading Jackson Associates, he has held positions as a signature professor at Texas A&M University and economist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
