Daniel Blottenberger

At USDA Rural Development we are committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. Through our more than 40 loan and grant programs, we touch rural America in many ways. It has been said that we can literally build a rural community from the ground up. My mission is to help get the word out about the great programs we offer. Prior to 2020, I spent 5 years working on the U.S. Army’s Prepositioned Stocks (APS) - Europe project in Germany as a Business Management Analyst and Administrative Liaison in the Project Management Office (PMO). Before the APS project, I spent 8 years in the U.S. military as a Public Affairs Specialist, which included three years as a journalist for the Stars and Stripes European edition. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, a Master’s degree in American Studies, and a MBA in International Business.
