Adrienne Bourgeois supports Entergy’s nuclear operations team as the incident response senior communications specialist. She is responsible for planning and executing the company’s incident response and severe weather communications plan. Adrienne has been the site communicator at Waterford 3 since 2020, managing the station’s internal and external communications while serving as a strategic partner for the site leadership team. During her time at Waterford 3, she’s driven employee engagement with station communication tools, helped increase participation in the site’s North American Young Generation in Nuclear and Women in Nuclear chapters and assisted colleagues on various communications campaigns. Prior to joining Entergy, Adrienne has a history of local communications and emergency response work, including years with St. Charles Parish government as a public information specialist and interim public information officer. During her time with St. Charles Parish, she was awarded multiple awards for her public education campaigns, one from the National Hurricane Conference for creating a youth hurricane preparedness campaign still used throughout the river parishes today. She has a master’s degree in composition from Liberty University. She received her bachelor’s degree English and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Nicholls State University.
