Nicole Silvya Bouris

As a sustainable energy innovator based in Nairobi and working across the entire continent, I have experience working for the World Bank Group in Washington DC and the private sector in solar and clean cooking sectors. Through my transition to the minigrid space I gained a deeper understanding of the distributed energy space, and I am now able to bring a more comprehensive perspective to my work.

Through my accomplishments, I have been recognized as a Forbes Italy Under 30 and have been featured on the Nova 111 professionals’ list, which identifies top talent across 11 key sectors of the economy who have achieved outstanding results and are driving positive impact.

I am committed to bridging the gap between multilateral development banks and the private sector to bring off-grid solar solutions to Africa, and to creating a more sustainable and equitable future.
