Current Vice President of the Board of the City of Los Angeles Water and Power. First Filipino-American to be appointed to the Board and also the first LADWP retiree to hold a seat on the commission. Previously served as director of LADWP’s Low-Income Customer Access, a position that helped ensure low-income ratepayers could access financial assistance, discounts and rebates, and energy efficiency resources offered by the utility. Served on Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Sustainability team as a Senior Sustainability Analyst for 5 years. Oversaw the implementation of Los Angeles’ first Sustainable City pLAn and secured a $1.7 million grant for the City from the California Air and Resources Board to help launch BlueLA — an EV car sharing pilot program in low-income communities. Previous LADWP Human Resources Director and Management Administrator of a joint labor/management training institute. Founder and CEO of AgilEngines LLC, an advocacy and consulting firm focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, community outreach, and civic engagement strategies.
