Jennifer joined the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) as their newest President and CEO in April of 2020. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of Research and Education for the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) from 2015 through April 2020 where she was responsible for the organization's Content, Research and Industry Strategy Teams. Prior to her role as a member of SEPA's leadership team, Jennifer also served as an active member of SEPAs Board for more than seven years.
Additionally, Jennifer spent nearly nine years as Renewable Energy Manager for the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) leading their solar energy, corporate sustainability and electric vehicle programs. She also conducted applied photovoltaic systems research for eight years as Senior Energy Analyst for the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), a research institute of the University of Central Florida (UCF). Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Florida International University in 1997 and holds an MBA from UCF.
She has served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including: SEPA, the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) She is a LEED Accredited Professional and currently sits on the board of Drive Electric Florida, the Dean’s Advisory Board for the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Sciences and the Advisory Board of the Florida Solar Energy Center.
