I’ve been involved with mapping utility infrastructure since 1992, for me it all started with vellum, Leroy, and Rapidograph. It didn’t take long and by the mid-90’s I was part of my first utility digital transition and was introduced to geographical information systems (GIS). It was then when I developed my fierce belief in the positive impact the location of things has to a utility. My whole career has been focused on learning everything I can, from every angle, about the technology and its application at utilities for the sole purpose of advising and/or building the best all-around location platform for every group within a utility. This path has blessed me with the opportunity to work with hundreds of people and dozens of utilities across the country which has become invaluable to me and my mission.
