With a strong background as a distribution engineer, I have gained valuable experience leading the Eastern Sector SEC team. In this role, I effectively coordinated and communicated with government entities and business partners to ensure strict compliance with electrical regulations and codes. I handled complex tasks such as managing land user permits and addressing right-of-way issues for projects that intersected/paralleled with the SEC electricity grid in both distribution and transmission. In Demand Side Management (DSM), I have achieved notable success by implementing various initiatives aimed at improving stability on the electricity grid. This includes the successful execution of programs such as the Power Factor Program, Residential Thermal Insulation, Smart Meters (Electricity End Use Consumption Program), and effective control of air-conditioning loads for major customers. I have also played a significant role in implementing Time of Use Tariff (TOU) strategies and reducing technical and non-technical losses in the distribution network. A highlight of my career has been raising awareness about energy conservation through engaging campaigns and providing energy-efficient solutions to governmental buildings upon request. I take pride in my ability to drive positive change and improve processes. As an Electrical Power Engineer, I possess a range of professional skills that are essential in delivering exceptional results. I am adept at problem-solving, effective communication, creative thinking, and meticulous data collection and analysis. With a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for technology and renewable energy, I excel in utilizing various tools such as MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, Data Visualization (MS PowerBI), MS SharePoint, and SQL.
