Professional Bio:
Anthony leads the MIDEL business unit focused on market development in North and South America. MIDEL is the transformer dielectric fluids division of global specialty chemical company, M&I Materials based out of the UK.
In 2011, Anthony was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni at Georgia Tech where he frequently guest lectures in the MBA & Engineering Schools. He has a Chemical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and pursued his MBA at SMU in Dallas, TX. In 2014, Anthony was appointed to the Georgia Tech School of Chemical & BioMolecular Engineering Advisory Board. He also graduate with distinction in 2019 from the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership. And most recently, Anthony was selected to serve on the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business Advisory Board at the Scheller College of Business @ Georgia Tech.
In 2017, Anthony was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the national foundation, All Points North, which funds solar grants for non-profits across the US. In 2013, he served on the Executive Committee of Board of Directors of the Green Chamber of the South and is currently Chairman of the Board of the Green House Accelerator, a CleanTech incubator that provides start-up mentoring. In 2013, he served as Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Solar Energy Association and 2009 to 2015 he served as founding member and on the Board as Vice-Chairman for Technology Association of Georgia’s Smart Energy Society.
Prior to joining the M&I Materials executive team, Anthony led the sales and market development team at regional solar EPC, Hannah Solar. As part of his decade plus in solar, Anthony was part of the management team that built start-up Suniva into an international solar PV cell company. He has previous experience at multi-nationals such as General Electric, Dow Chemical and Accenture. A thought leader in Solar economics and design, he is a published author in the areas of Solar Cost Modeling, Competitive Industry Strategies and Business Process Management.
