Mr. Carnevale is a serial entrepreneur developing and managing platforms delivering cleantech, utility and energy transition solutions. He currently serves as President & CEO of BHC Canada Inc.. Founded in 1999, BHC has developed extensive expertise in successfully designing, implementing, and upgrading SPL and Oracle Utilities suite of products at over 30 client sites ranging in size from approximately 26,000 end customers to over 4.3 million customers.
Mr. Carnevale serves on the Board of Governors of Ontario Tech University, advancing the discovery and application of knowledge to accelerate economic growth, regional development and social innovation. Ontario Tech inspires and equips students and graduates to make a positive impact in a tech-focused world.
He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cleantech Power Corp., a diversified investment platform developing affordable, renewable, and reliable power assets and cleantech.
He also served as the Chief Growth Officer, and prior, Chief Operating Officer of Universal PropTech Inc., a leading investment platform in PropTech innovation, integration and ongoing services for building developers, owners and operators in Canada.
Mr. Carnevale was the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgepoint Group Ltd., established in 1998, a boutique consulting, advisory and merchant banking firm focused on business development strategies and execution of sustainability, energy and infrastructure solutions.
Mr. Carnevale was also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Impact Investment Partners Inc. Its first investment, energyX Solutions Inc., was awarded two MIT Climate Colab Challenge Awards.
Over the past two decades, Mr. Carnevale has originated over $2.5 billion in energy transactions.
Mr. Carnevale previously served on several industry boards including; Canadian Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association from 2022 to 2023; Executive Board Member of Energy Council of Canada from 2017-2019; Council for Clean & Reliable Electricity; Ontario Energy Association, and Rethink Sustainability Initiatives (RSI). He was an active member of the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance, QUEST (Quality Urban Energy Systems of Tomorrow) and served as Chair of the Community Development Working Group.
In 2017, Mr. Carnevale and Bridgepoint were named Canadian GameChanger of the Year by ACQ5 Magazine through their ACQ Awards.
Mr. Carnevale is a trusted advisor to public sector leaders, and continues to develop successful public private partnerships. Mr. Carnevale has guest lectured at Ontario Tech University and University of Toronto on public private partnerships and ethics. He has been published in infrastructure, energy and municipal publications, some of which have included his perspective on the virtues of public private partnerships and industry trends.
Mr. Carnevale graduated from York University with a BA degree in Political Science. He, his wife and two boys reside in Toronto, Canada.
