Lili Francklyn has worked in renewable energy, utility and climate-related marketing communications positions for over ten years. She is currently Editor of the Microgrid News at HOMER Energy by UL and was previously Software Sales & Marketing Manager at FTC Solar, specializing in utility-scale solar. She has worked at Colorado Solar & Storage Association (formerly COSEIA), Namaste Solar, the American Solar Energy Society, Blue Sun Biodiesel, and Schlumberger. She was an award-winning science reporter at National Public Radio, covering environmental issues in Congress and US federal agencies. She was also a television producer for National Geographic with credits on over two-dozen documentaries.
