Synthetic Texas Transmission System Dataset with Spatio-Temporal Correlated System Profiles at One-Hour Resolution for an Entire Year

I would like to share a synthetic Texas transmission system dataset (TX-123BT) that contains time series grid profiles of load, solar power, wind power and line rating at one-hour resolution for an entire year.

Historical climate data were used to create this series of grid profiles, so spatio-temporal correlations are preserved in this dataset. These climate data are also available and include: hourly temperature, longwave & shortwave solar radiation, zonal & meridional wind speed at each of the 123 buses for the entire year of 2019. Two sets of dynamic line ratings (DLR) were created: (i) daily DLR: line rating is the same for the same day but different for different days; (ii) hourly DLR: line ratings are different for different hours. The source ArcGIS files were also made available to access the geographic information visually.

Sample python codes were also provided for simulating two day-ahead scheduling schemes: (i) normal SCUC; and (ii) SCUC with hourly DLR. Simulation results including nodal LMPs for 2 out of 365 days were provided.

Here is the link providing a more detailed description and the download link for this dataset:
