The Evolution of Qatar's Smart Electricity Grid: Kahramaa (Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation), in collaboration with Siemens, has successfully deployed more than 500K smart meters in record time utilizing Siemens cutting-edge technologies in Smart Metering / AMI that includes Asset Management Centre, Prepay System, MDM (Meter Data Management), HES (Head End System) and Analytics. Achieved some of the major targets of success ratio of 99% accurate billing using the new fully integration and automated AMI system. Â
