Utility spending on Information Technology (IT) products is expected to rise 6.8% in 2024, according to market research firm Gartner Inc. Software at 12.7% and Services at 8.7% were the top increases. Data center solutions was the fastest growing technology infrastructure area at 7.5%, devices came in at 4.6% and communications service lagged the field with a 2.3% increase.
