A new Amazon threat report links the campaign, which has been targeting vulnerabilities in infrastructure orgs’ edge devices since 2021, to Russia’s military intelligence agency, the GRU.
By compromising these perimeter devices, hackers can intercept login credentials and pivot into internal networks or cloud platforms, maintaining a persistent foothold in the critical infrastructure supply chain across North America and Europe.
