It feels like it's been a while since cybersecurity around the utility industry has been a headline topic. That's for the best after a series of high-profile hacks toward the end of the last decade. If this story isn't enough to push power providers into investing into and growing its cybersecurity capabilities, then good luck to them in the 2020s and beyond. Cybersecurity investment isn't a one and done kind of deal. It's not like infrastructure or capital costs. Cycbersecurity needs to constantly be upgraded and reassesd, just like that risks that threaten it.
