Energy companies manage critical infrastructure: companies, individuals, and government rely on electricity to conduct their day. Much of the equipment is old and in need of ongoing maintenance. In response, vendors are delivering a greater variety of digital Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and advanced data analytics software platforms that perform Structural Health Monitoring (SHM).  Consequently, the number of SHM sensors is expected to reach 22.9 million in 2030, a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18% from 2023, according to global technology intelligence firm ABI Research.
