If it does, Green energy is going to take a big hit. Will this crush the growth of Wind. Solar, BESS, thermal as it seems to push and reward fossil fuel generation. What a mess for the industry. Jobs in manufacturing will be lost. Projects will be stalled or killed all together and it appears Nuclear will be given a green light for support, and that will be a long way off. In GA it was billions of $ over budget and years well beyond a promised start up for the latest plants to go online.Â
We cannot be successful with Grid Modernization or Carbon elimination if every four or eight years we go through this dramatic of a shift in policy, priorities or funding. Washington needs to stop the pendulum, look long term and agree on the goals we want utilities and manufacturing to focus on, not these red/blue swings left and right. The Dems are already promising another swing if they control the budget. America deserves better.Â
