I was part of the team that partnered with Turlock Irrigation District (TID) to develop two roadmaps: one for their migration to Esri's Utility Network and a second for their overall Grid Modernization strategy. This case study summarizes how Esri's new GIS technology supports Grid Modernization for forward-looking utilities like TID. I've seen a significant number of utilities moving down this same path over the last several years. A strong network model and high data quality are needed for ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) and related enterprise solutions.
