What does Brazil need?

Improving the standard of living, I mean the GDP per capita, requires an improvement in the standard of what we produce.

In other words, we need to increase the added value of what we do.

Migrate from the current model focused on primary products to a "higher" level.

It's a question of logic, well known to those who run companies, institutions and countries. In the energy arena it is no different.

Our challenge (still kept under the radar) would be to face the demand side. Create programs that encourage the use of energy sparingly and at convenient times.

Until Brazil decides to follow this path, we will continue to be a country of poor people, with per capita income at the bottom of the market even though its absolute GDP is among the 10 largest in the world.
