Residential energy storage

Residential energy storage

Innovative and super interesting programs are being implemented in the United States.

One of them, sponsored by Duke Energy, one of the largest electricity utilities in that country, offers a payment to those who install storage and allow it to be activated when necessary.

The program is spectacular!

It's a win win!

The residence receives a financial benefit whenever storage is activated. The concessionaire now may dispatch distributed generation, thus avoiding the construction of centralised (more expensive) power plants.

And so, countries that are taking these types of initiatives are able to reach and maintain new levels of competitiveness!
