Power supply interruptions - what to do?
On paper the Brazilian regulations are great!
- ANEEL (regulator) supervises the electrical system ensuring compliance with standards
 - City halls are responsible for the health of trees, preventing “compromised” trees from putting the electricity grid at risk
 - Local utilities are responsible for the clean surroundings of high voltage lines, preventing dangerous failures from occurring
 - Firefighters are supposed to work to ensure that "compromised" trees are removed, thus ensuring everyone's safety
In reality, year after year, history repeats itself.
Accidents - often fatal, prolonged interruptions in the electricity supply (far above what is foreseen by regulations in terms of hours/year and their frequency in times/year).
Anyone wishing to mitigate this challenging situation can consider using generator sets. Whether in an industrial, commercial, institutional or even residential environment.
