Students at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts went above and beyond the requirements to design a highly energy-efficient structure for the Solar Decathlon Build Challenge. The students teamed up with local developer, Urbanica, and designed an affordable housing project that will integrate an energy-saving home automation system.   “Northeastern is pursuing a really aggressive project. They want to solve a problem they see in the area.
