House Democrats introduced a bill to upend the Trump admin’s energy playbook. (The Hill)
The bill would 1) Restore clean energy tax credits and grants. 2) Bar FERC from allowing specific generators, like gas-fired plants, to cut interconnection queues. 3) Put $2.1B toward grid upgrades, among other proposals. It’s backed by 122 House members and two former FERC commissioners.
Don’t hold your breath: It probably won’t pass the Republican-controlled Congress, but it could pave the way for future legislation if Dems take the House or Senate in November. 👀
