NEWS: Base Power And GVEC Collaborates To Launch Utility-Operated Distributed Battery Program To Boost Grid Reliability

Texas co-op GVEC is teaming up with Base Power to roll out a utility-managed fleet of home batteries, aiming to cut costs, boost grid stability, and tap ERCOT’s ADER market. (SolarQuarter)

  • The program kicks off in Lennar-built homes. It lets GVEC dispatch energy from residential batteries using Base’s software while giving homeowners full backup power and app-based controls.
