According to a recent report by E4 the Future and E2, nearly 2.2 million U.S. workers are currently employed in the energy efficiency field. The report credits the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act for the growth. The industry continues to struggle with diversity and actions will be taken to remedy the problem include recruiting, workforce development and widening the scope on the location of projects. How are utilities incentivizing energy and energy efficiency careers?
