An interesting new study published in Nature says the hypothesized strain that widespread EV adoption could have on the national grid could be mitigated by shifting policy toward uncontrolled daytime charging as opposed to allowing at-home charging during the night. This may sound odd to some, but in my home state of New Jersey, many gas stations are manned by attendants and are only open during regular business hours.Â
