AI for electric utilities
I present a concept for the use of electricity distributors, aiming to optimise their infrastructure vis-à-vis the contracted demand of their business and institutional customers.
It involves appropriately adjusting the contracted demand in relation to the registered demand of each customer.
The thesis is that this adjustment allows capacity to be released from customers who have idle demands and allocated to those in the opposite situation, increasing them.
The advantage is for everyone involved. For customers, better adjusting their contracted demands will result in lower costs. By better allocating its capacity, the distributor will be able to deliver more energy with the same infrastructure, improving its technical and financial performance.
