That is the number and the capability of generation projects that applied to connect to the grid through the first Cycle of PJM Interconnection’s reformed interconnection process. The new redesign will improve the certainty and speed of project review. The application window closed earlier this week. The grid operator now begins a validation phase to confirm which projects have submitted the required technical and financial information to move forward. All projects in this Cycle will be processed under the new framework, with no remaining backlog from prior queues. Powering good!
