Last week, Fujitsu and RIKEN unveiled their latest computer. The 256-qubit system is currently one of the largest superconducting quantum systems in the world. Starting in the first quarter of fiscal 2025, the computer will be made available to companies and research institutions worldwide. The two leading research and digital service companies are already engaged in the development of a 1,000-qubit superconducting quantum computer, planned for installation in 2026 at a new facility within Fujitsu Technology Park. With more than 120,000 employees, Fujitsu is the leading digital services company in Japan by market share. RIKEN, a National Research and Development Agency, is Japan's largest comprehensive research institution. These are exciting times for innovation and technology. Powering good!
